About the Stones
This ring contains 1.55 carats of calibre-cut emerald baguettes precisely fitted into gold channels creating uninterrupted bands of vivid green color. The specialized calibre-cutting technique requires exceptional lapidary skill where each emerald must be individually shaped to fit its position perfectly. Emerald, the green variety of beryl, ranks 7.5-8 on the Mohs hardness scale. The 0.34 carats of round brilliant diamonds are pave-set in alternating bands, positioned closely together to create continuous sparkle with minimal metal visible between stones, providing brilliant white contrast against the rich green emeralds and warm yellow gold.
