How To Measure Ring Size With String, Paper & Ruler

To measure ring size at home, follow these simple steps. If you need someone else's ring size, you can ask them directly or get help from friends and family for a surprise. You can also measure their existing rings using our ring size chart.

Steps to Measure Your Ring Size:

1. Wrap a piece of string or paper around the base of your finger.
2. Mark the point where the ends meet with a pen.
3. Measure the length of the string or paper with a ruler (in mm).
4. Divide the length by 3.14 (Pi) to find the ring diameter.
5. Match the diameter to a ring size chart to find your size.

Tips to Measure Your Ring Size

When measuring your ring size, keep the following tips in mind:

• Avoid measuring your fingers when they are cold, as they tend to be smaller.
• Avoid measuring your fingers on very hot summer days, as they may be swollen.
