Unlike the square Panthère de Cartier, the Cougar features a rounded case with a polished bezel secured by eight decorative rivets. The integrated five-link bracelet continues the design language of the Panthère collection while giving the watch a distinctive appearance of its own.
Produced primarily during the 1990s, the Cougar was offered in stainless steel, two-tone gold and steel, and solid gold configurations. Reference 187904 features the 33mm two-tone design, pairing an 18K yellow gold bezel with a stainless steel case and matching gold-and-steel bracelet.
The Cougar remains one of Cartier's recognizable discontinued watch designs from the period, distinguished by its round case, riveted bezel, and integrated bracelet.
